03/01/17 – Keep clear of the sheep (encore)

Boise’s foothills are managed for multiple use, and domestic sheep have been trailed through the Boise Foothills for more than a century. In the spring, trail users are likely to encounter sheep moving through the foothills, which sometimes presents a challenge for ranchers. On this episode, rebroadcast from several years ago, I talked with outdoor recreation writer Steve Stuebner and Boise’s Ridge to Rivers Trail Program Coordinator, David Gordon, about the Care and Share program that aims to educate the public on trail use in sheep country.

You can listen to the original broadcast here.
