In late January, US Representative Mike Simpson unveiled a revised version of the Central Idaho Economic Development and Recreation Act on the heels of President Obama’s visit to Boise – an event some in the conservation community hoped would signal a move toward designating the Boulder White-Clouds as a National Monument.
