On this episode of Elemental Idaho, I talk with Randy Stapilus, editor of Through the Waters, An Oral History of the Snake River Adjudication, a compilation of the personal perspectives of those most centrally involved with one of the largest legal cases in American history. The SRBA was a 27 year-review of more than 150,000 water rights in the Snake River Basin. Stapilus says this compilation of interviews is the definitive story of the SRBA – and essential to understanding it.
